AHS 48 V 21 Yell

The first quarter started with AHS off to a strong start, mid courts Jules Jarmson and Cara Montgomery working well together to work the ball down the court to shooters Sadie Fox and Niamh Paton who were working well together in the shooting circle. Yells defenders Lesley Strachan and Malin Leslie were making it very difficult for AHS midcourts to get the feeds into their shooters. First quarter ended 11-6 to AHS.

Quarter 2 started with a few changes being made from both teams, AHS Eve fraser coming on for WD and Caitlin Spence swapping with Niamh Paton into GS. Yells Amber Inkster coming on to C to help yell keep the ball in their half. The quarter started with quick play from both teams, Yells shooters Martha Colclough and Jasmin Lawson working well with midcourts Amber Inkster and Sandra Petrie to work the ball down the court, but AHS defenders Annie Mowat and Tegan Hendren doing well and keeping the ball out the circle. Quarter 2 ended 24-10 to AHS.

The next quarter started out strongly for AHS with strong play in the midcourt from C Annie Mowat and WA Jodie Kerfoot, working well together to get the ball down to shooters. Niamh Paton player well at GA also helping getting the ball down the court. Yells defence Strachan and Leslie doing really well at keeping the shooters as far away from the shooting post. WD Ingrid Nicol doing really well at helping Yell gain the ball back into their possession. Third quarter ended 36-15 to AHS.

The last quarter began with not many changes being made to either of the teams. Yell started strongly with mid courts Inkster and Lorraine Odie playing extremely well with shooter Lawson to get the ball into Yells circle where shooters Lawson and Colclough were working well around defenders Sadie Fox and Jodie Kerfoot. AHS managed to also score a few goals with help from midcourts Jarmson and Montgomery getting it into shooters Paton and Spence. This Match ended 48-21.
