Da McEwans settled first into the match and raced into a strong lead. Accurate shooting from Joanne Stewart and Anna Sutherland and strong mid court play from Catherine Irvine and Eileen Robertson helped McEwans take the lead 13-4 at the end of the quarter.
McEwans continued to play strongly in the second quarter but All sorts began to play better netball, with Hannah Wright and Alexis Jamieson feeding in well to shooters Kayleigh Gear and Megan Henry. Da McEwans led 22-11 at half time.
