Scallywags took the first centre pass to get the game under way. Scallywags Wing Attack Anna Leask fed accurately into the shooters. This allowed Scallywags to create a 10 goal difference meaning the first quarter ended 13-3 to Scallywags.
Both teams work hard in the second quarter with intercepts coming from both teams defenders creating many opportunities. However Scallywags shooter Eden Wadley was unstoppable getting in every goal possible. This meant that the first half ended 24-6 to Scallywags.
The second half saw Delting make some changes to there attacking end. Rhona Clark came on at Goal Attack for Delting and Lily Rendell on at Goal shoot. Delting started the second quarter strong getting turn over ball due to the tough defence of Charlotte Slatter and Jenna Mowat. This allowed Delting to get a few more goals on the board but Scallywags still pushed the lead out further.
The last quarter saw Delting have to make a few changes due to injury. Youngster Emma Hunter came on at Goal Defence for Delting while Anne Marie Robinson came back on at Goal Attack for Scallywags. The final quarter saw both teams working tirelessly to get the ball to their shooters. Robinson made some great attacking balls into her shooting partner for Scallywags. The game ended with Scallywags taking the win by 46-17. Players of the match for Delting was Jenna Mowat and Scallywags Eden Wadley.
