Strong Centre pass from Delting, Wastside had a great interception at the start of the quarter. Erin Hunter from Delting had a strong first goal of the match. Deltings defenders Nala Williamson, Jenna Mouat and Kaitlyn Johnson worked really well together. Wastside had great communication and was strong moving up the court. Delting showed strong passes and linking however Wastside had great interceptions stealing the ball back. Deltings Lara White and Erin Hunter worked hard together and showed some outstanding shooting. Wastside had great passes into their shooters. This quarter finished 7-6 to Wastside.
Strong passes from both team in the second quarter, Wastside were right back into the game, strong and determined which reflected in their first 2 goals. Hannah Williamson playing goal Shoot for Delting had some amazing shots. Wastside Eina Preist also showed some really strong goal attempts however Kaitlyn Johnson and Jenna Mouat were not letting the ball go in the goal. Holly Stephen of Delting had a strong play throughout the quarter, she offered good support to her teammates. Julie Crossan of Wastside started the ball strong with a Centre pass however Delting could make a interception which then lead to a great shot from Erin Hunter of Delting. Bronwyn Walterson and Julie Crossan worked well together, however Nala Williamson and Ashley Hay of Delting worked in Sqnc and were able to get the ball up to Erin and Lara which resulted in a great goal.
