The match started quickly with Jaguars quickly finding their feet with strong passes between midcourt players Caitlin Munro ( C) and Sophie Morris (WA). Working hard with Megan Nicolson (GA) and Kayleigh Rankin (GS) pushing ahead winning the first quarter 19-3.

The second quarter saw one change for McEwans, Kirsty Porter moving into (GA). Kirsty and Freya Leslie (GD) of Jaguars working hard against each other fighting for the ball. McEwans Catherine Irvine (GD) and Faye Anderson (WD) worked hard against Morris and Nicolson to stop Jaguars center passes getting through but despite best efforts from McEwans to gain back some goals, Jaguars still in the lead with 34-11.

Going into the third quarter, the game started off scrappy for both teams and a lot off loose balls. Jaguars defence, Kelsea Blades (WD), Freya Leslie (GD) and Chloe Jamieson (GK) work hard to keep the ball from entering the McEwans shooting circle. Nicola Polson (WA) and Jenny Jamieson (C) of McEwans worked hard to utilise the space to get the ball into their shooting circle with a steady flow of passes to gain it back. A good fight between Johnsons defence and McEwans shooters but with the best efforts from McEwans, Jaguars came out on top for the third quarter, 49-22.

The fourth quarter sees a few more changes for Mcewans, Catherine Irvine going into WD and Brenna Irvine moving to GD. No changes to McEwans throughout the whole game saw a good link up and down the court. Despite a good fight from McEwans, Jaguars come out on top with a win 65-30. Players of the match were awarded to Megan Nicolson for Jaguars and for Jenny Jamieson for McEwans.
