Both teams got off to a strong start with goals from Maisie Ramsay for Kinetics and Rhianne Colvin for Kiwis within minutes. A few loose balls from Kinetics and rebounds mean that Kiwis pulled ahead. Tight defence saw Kinetics having to work hard around the circle but excellent shooting from Ramsay sees them secure vital goals. Accurate shooting from Kiwis shooters Colvin and Dawn Manson, ends the quarter on 11 – 7 to Kiwis.

The second quarter started with Kiwis making a quick break but Kinetics Ella Johnson made a brilliant effort in defence leading to the ball making its way back to the Kinetics circle for Kinetics GA Ramsay to score a goal. Kiwis were fast back attacking managing to get the ball to Kiwis shooters Louise Jamieson and Manson who scored a goal each for the Kiwis team. The Kinetics defenders were getting several touches onto the ball but the Kiwis shooters were getting into good spaces to help them score. The quarter ends at 25-13 to Kiwis

Third quarter saw Kiwis have some great interceptions and pulled ahead again. Some frantic end to end play, saw Kiwis defence Maisie Unsworth and Kim Johnson giving the Kinetics shooters Ramsay and Henderson a tough time. Kiwis stormed ahead going into the final quarter 40-15

For the final quarter, changes were made for both sides and Kinetics were first to find the net, with Ramsay continuing to display accurate long range shooting. Kiwis continued to dominate though with quick accurate passing and great work from Emma Niven in centre feeding the Kiwis shooters Kinetics continued to give everything and their defence provided great support at their attacking line. Kiwis were triumphant at the final whistle with a score of 53-22. Players of the match were Emma Niven for Kiwis and Maisie Ramsay for Kinetics.
