The first quarter started off pretty even with quick play from both sides. Deltings defenders Jenna Mowat (GD) and Nicola Robertson (GK) did well to try stop the mishaps getting the ball in the circle. Both teams showed determination and good marking, keeping the game close. But Mishaps were quick to get the goals in finishing the first quarter with a 9-6 point difference.

Mishaps Vicky Anderson (GD) worked well with the interceptions from (C) Sarah Williamson, both working well to get the ball to the circle where Molly Farmer (GS) and Morgan Henderson (GA) were able to get the ball in the circle to get the goals in, despite the pressure from Delting. Seeing the 2nd quarter end with 16-11 to Mishaps.

The 3rd quarter started strong again, with Elaine Burgess (GK) working well alongside (GD) Brooke Williamson, catching the rebounds for mishaps and putting the pressure in around the circle. Delting showed good play up to their circle and worked well with strong passes to one another to get to (GS) Lara White, where she got in some brilliant goals. Despite the goals Mishaps continued to take the lead ending the quarter 23-15.

With 8 goals in it, the final quarter saw both teams determined to get the final few goals. Mishaps managed to maintain the lead in this quarter, despite good play from both sides. The game finished 30-21 to the Mishaps. Players of the match were Vicky Anderson for Mishaps and Ashley Hay for Delting.
