Ness defenders Ruth (GK) and Michaela Christie (GD) worked well together putting pressure on the shooters in the circle. Throughout the second quarter, it was a tough fight in the mid-court for the ball with Vicki Smith and Sonja Kurtz both as centre driving in quickly for the ball. For the third quarter Ness made some changes with Megan Leslie coming on as WA and Ailish Parham coming on as WD. The score at the end of the third quarter was 44-14 to Loungers.

The final quarter both teams were starting to get tired leading to foot work errors from both teams. Jennifer Thomson and Louise Moar were once again working well together in the circle getting lots of touches on the ball making Ness shooters Estella Smith and Sarah Kissick move well in the circle to get a pass. Close to the end of the quarter Kaitlin Leslie got an amazing shot right from the very edge of the circle.
