The game started fast with Tullochs being first to settle. Leanna Henderson and Claire Morris linked well and fed accurate passes into Kirsti Leask and Tahnae McLennan who were shooting on form. Loungers weren’t making it easy for them though as Louise Moar and Jennifer Thomson defended tightly, converting any errors up the court to shooters Kaitlin Leslie and Stella Oldbury. The first quarter ended 14-5 to Tullochs.

In the second quarter, Tullochs continued to dominate with defenders Emma Leask and Victoria Duthie picking up interceptions and rebounds which were calmly converted to goals by the shooting duo. Ava Johnston worked tirelessly out of position at centre, linking well with Beth Mouat to feed into the shooters.  The second quarter finished 26-9 to Tullochs.

Loungers changed things up in the second half, moving Johnston to shooter forcing pressure on the Tullochs defence. Louise Birnie made an impact in the midcourt and Loungers fought back, never giving up. Debbie Henry came on for Tullochs at wing attack, making some brilliant interceptions and linking well with Clare Farmer at centre. Both teams continued to work hard, with end to end play up until the final whistle.

The game ended 46-27 to Tullochs. Players of the match were Kirsti Leask for Tullochs and Louise Birnie for Loungers.
