Wastside 20 vs Ness Hotshots 32

Wastside won the toss and took the first centre pass. It took both teams a little while to settle and the ball was going from end to end. Wastside only had six players but they didn’t let this effect them. It was a low scoring quarter which ended 5-5.

Ness Hotshots made some changes for the second quarter. Isabel Beswick came on at GK, Freya Leslie was WD and Kelsey Blades was GS. Wastside had recruited another player and made changes to their team to accommodate Sophie Bain who had agreed to play GK.  Ness Hotshots began to pull ahead and the second quarter finished 13-8 in their favour.

Wastside were determine to close the gap and the third quarter saw some excellent play from their centre court players who were feeding the ball into the circle to their shooters. Ness Hotshots matched their play, goal for goal. They continued to edge ahead with the quarter ending 16-21 to Ness Hotshots.
