This low scoring game got off to an even start, with both teams playing with determination. End-to-end play was interrupted by the Kinetics defence Ciara Kelly (GD) and Louise Malcolmson (GK) and Lesley Strachan (GD) and Martha Colclough (GK) for Yell. The first quarter ended 4-4.

Third quarter started very fast past with Yell’s young centre Carrie Petrie making some great interceptions along side her Auntie Ingrid Nicol in WD. Kinetics shooting accuracy ramped up this quarter as they began to take the lead as Maisie Ramsay (GA) and Liza Fullerton (GS), fought hard for possession against Yell’s Kerry Nicolson (GK). Yell’s Jasmin Lawson (GA) shot an amazing goal from the edge of the circle. 9-14 to Kinetics.

Kinetics built on their lead in the 4th quarter with Carina McClatchie (C) and Amber Inkster (C) gave each other a hard time trying to link up the play through the court. Both teams were fighting hard, making it a tough watch for spectators. The final score was Yell 14- Kinetics 21. Players of the match were Maisie Ramsay for Kinetics and Lesley Strachan for Yell.
