Delting 21 V 25 Wastside
Wastside took the first centre pass. Both teams started off strong, going goal for goal. This ended the first quarter 6-4 to Delting.
The second quarter saw Delting come out strong with shooters Lara White and Erin Hunter pushing the lead out. This allowed Delting to finish the second quarter ahead 15-10.
Wastside came out committed to pull the lead back with their defence getting many intercepts, especially Shona Hunter, and working the ball up strongly through court. This meant Wastside took back the lead 19-16.
Delting defenders Jenna Mowat and Holly Stephen continued to work hard to claw back the lead but Wastside stayed consistent allowing them to take the game 25-21. Players of the match were Jenna Mowat for Delting and Erica Mikolajczak for Wastside.
