Dutch Courage 26 v 17 Yell
The 1st quarter started with nice goal to goal play, with the first quarter ending in 6 all. Yell picked up the pace in the second quarter with on point shooting from Inga Inkster. The fierce Yell defence in the circle making it hard for Dutch Courage’s shooters to get near the net saw a score of 13-7 to Yell at half time.
With some great interceptions from Dutch Courage throughout the 3rd quarter, and brilliant movement up and down the court from DC’s Miley Watt, and Cerys Harrop, Dutch Courage picked up a few points. Yell kept on with great shooting which saw the 3rd quarter end 21-10 to Yell.
Both teams worked tirelessly during the 4th quarter, brilliant defence from both teams saw lots of end to end play, the game ended with Yell wining 26-17. Cerys Harrop was chosen as player of the match for Dutch Courage and Inga Inkster for Yell.
