Johnson Jaguars started the first quarter off strongly with good shooting from Jaguars GS and GA Rachel Young and Megan Nicolson. Da McEwans took longer to settle resulting in the first quarter ending 8-3 in Jaguars favour.

The second quarter started with Jaguars GD Ruth Morris picking up multiple balls making life difficult for McEwans shooters GS Mairi Goodlad and GA Megan Sandison. However, C Nicola Polson for McEwans was feeding well into the circle. The quarter finished 18-4.

Jaguars introduced GA Sophie Morris into the circle who linked well with WA Abby Harcus to continue Jaguars strong attacking play. Jaguars GK Chloe Jameison was getting her hand to every rebound and providing good support up the court. McEwans WA Faye Anderson was working hard throughout the court to provide support to the shooting circle and the quarter ended 31-8.

Jaguars were determined to finish the game off strongly with good defensive pressure from GK Kayleigh Young and WD Jemima Budge. Despite some good defensive pressure from McEwans, C Caitlin Munro was linking well with the shooting circle and the game finished 41-9 to Johnson Jaguars.
