Kinetics 21 V 38 Shetland Juniors

Both teams made a good start with some great communication from the first whistle from Shetland Juniors. This alongside some slick play resulted in Juniors edging ahead. Kinetics mid court managed to get some great interceptions which disrupted their flow and kept Kinetics in the game. However, Juniors Annie Mouat showed fantastic play in defence making it challenging for the Kinetics shooters.

In the Kinetics circle Lucy Thomson and Karis Georgeson worked well moving together resulting in an evenly matched quarter which was goal for goal.  Mid court player Jodie Kerfoot made a fantastic debut game for Kinetics supporting her team around the court.

The third quarter saw Juniors pull ahead and increase their lead. Juniors Sadie Fox and Holly Anderson played an outstanding quarter, barely missing a goal.  End to end play ensued but Kinetics were marked tight in their circle, making scoring difficult which meant the score at the end of the third quarter was 15-31 to Juniors.

The final quarter saw continued determination from both teams. Rozanne Jamieson and Ciara Kelly worked well in defence for Kinetics against the young shooters, however Juniors had a comfortable lead and the game finished 38-21 to them. An enjoyable and well fought game from both sides. Players of the match were Eve Fraser for Kinetics & Annie Mouat for Juniors.
