The first quarter saw 4 in a row from Kinetics to take an early lead. Loose passes were frequent from both teams as it took time to adjust to the Sandwick court. AHS began to find their form as the quarter moved on. Some well-timed passes from Kinetics let them finish the quarter leading 9-7.

In the second quarter the AHS start strongly with accurate shooting and lots of pressure on the Kinetics team. This lead to the AHS taking the lead at the start of the second quarter. Kinetics started to find their feet and make crucial interceptions to bring the lead back and finish the quarter ahead 18-13.

Moving into the third quarter Kinetics continued to maintain their lead with accurate feeding into the shooting circle, but AHS start to come into it making important interceptions and strong marking which forced mistakes from the Kinetics side. The quarter ends 24-21.

AHS start strongly in the final quarter and their accurate shooting allows them to take the lead again. Kinetics begins to settle down and start to put pressure on the AHS team, this leading to Kinetics taking the lead back. With defensive pressure throughout the court Kinetics managed to hold on and come out on top 29-28. Players of the match were Jess Fraser GK for AHS and Ella Johnson GK/GS for Kinetics.
