Ness’s Centre Aimee Budge took the first centre making a strong pass and then succeeding in the first goal from Ness’s GS Estella Smith. From the first centre pass it was a very competitive and fast paced first quarter. Filskit had strong defence with Kirsten Jeromson playing GD and Sarah Kay playing GK but Smith GS scored the first 3 goals. Filskets Centre then made a strong pass to Holly Anderson GA leading to Anderson scoring the first Goal for Filsket. Ness dominated the first quarter with a score of 14-3.

In the second quarter, Filskit’s Attackers Ailee Burgess and Ann-Marie Goudie worked well around the circle providing support for the shooters, which was tightly defended by Michaela and Ruth Christie. They both put a lot of pressure on the shooters picking up any rebounds. They made valuable accurate passes down to their mid court Molly Fraser WD and then down to Sarah Kissick GA who made some impressive shots. Ness maintained their lead ending in 20-5.

In the third quarter Filskit’s Kayti Jeromson moved into GA to work with Brooke Leslie as GS in the circle. The pair communicated well making small passes in the circle and some excellent shots. Ness worked tirelessly to maintain their strong lead with a slight turnover from Filsket, resulting in the score 27-11 to Ness.

The last quarter saw Ness Ailish Goodland WD and Megan Leslie WA linking up well in mid-court to deliver the ball to the shooters expanding their lead against Filskit. There was some great play from both teams who both put up a good fight. The final score ended in 39-15 to Ness. The player of the match for Ness was Molly Fraser and Kayti Jeromson for Filskit.
