Kinetics took the first centre pass and the game started with end to end play from both teams, with both teams defence working tirelessly to prevent goals.

The second quarter saw Whalsay finding their rhythm, however this did not stop Maisy Ramsey and Karis Irvine from accurate shooting, with excellent support from Jodie Kerfoot. However the Whalsay defenders continued to apply pressure, with a few interceptions from Leanna Jamieson, as well as pressure inside the circle with Natalie Constable and Shelley Anderson marking tightly.

The third quarter saw the Whalsay shooters Kirsty Porter and Ellie Sandison working hard together to try get around the Kinetics defenders, as Tegan Hendren and Ciara Kelly made it difficult to gain possession.
